Sequences are used for the mandatory experiments. These worksheets allow the students to think about how an experiment is carried out. They will be particularly useful as practise for section B of the examination paper where students may be asked to describe an experiment.
Cloze Tests have been appearing more frequently on Leaving Certificate Ordinary Level Chemistry examination papers in recent times. Therefore the Chemistry Support Team compiled some of these to ensure that students have extra appropriate material for revision purposes.
Matching Columns are useful in order that the students can practise relating ‘Chemical Terms’ to their ‘explanations’.

It is envisaged that more support material will be compiled for Ordinary Level students in the future. If any teacher has any suggestions for addressing the lack of resource material for Ordinary Level students, these would be very welcome.
